Dina Ross

I was born and raised in Brandon, MB, where real estate, new home builds, construction sites, home renovating, and revenue properties were in my blood. My father had a custom build home business where it was second nature to find me hanging around the site or coming along to all the realtor showings for winter project renos. My mom was the interior designer behind all of these projects.

Shortly after graduation, I began working with the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission, where I spent 8 amazing years! I took on a role in customer service, acting store manager that allowed me to acquire many skills in office, staff scheduling, leadership, time management, production orders. This progressed to a full-time Product Consultant, where my added focus was specialty wines, in addition also teaching wine courses within the community.

In 2002, I made a move to Cape Breton, NS, where I fell in love with the community. By 2004, I began my journey into health care, graduating at the top of my class with Honors—a proud accomplishment for me. From there, I worked at the local hospital, focusing on Palliative Care and Geriatrics, as well as at the Long-term Care Facility and Home Care. I brought compassion, empathy, and so much love to the time I spent there. This is also where my first daughter, Gracie, was born. Cape Breton will always hold a special place in my heart.

In 2008, we made the move to Fort McMurray, AB, where my second daughter was born, and we began planting strong roots in the community. I was a stay-at-home Mom for these years, pouring into volunteering, school, activities, and in any direction the kids were going. Love Fort McMurray so much for all it offers growing families and their children. As of the last 3 years, a single mom to 2 teenage girls, 15 and 17.

I love spending time with my kids, friends/family, traveling, road trips, being outdoors, catching a car show, and I love yoga, such an important practice for me in mind/body connection. I am a huge supporter of small business, be it health/wellness, a local brewery, or coffee shop; I find it so important to support local and give back to our community when we can.

As real estate has always been a big part of my childhood and seeing the relationship fostered between my parents' realtor/friend that is family for 40+ years, I have always had such a strong desire and drive to be part of this industry on a business and a personal level. I knew it was ALWAYS something I wanted to do. The only question was when? In 2023, I started the Real Estate Course, and in 2024, I officially became a Licensed REALTOR® in the place I have been blessed to call home for almost 16 years. Look forward to this next chapter and the addition of my new role in this community.
