Crystal Facette
Crystal Facette was born and raised in Sherwood Park, a small town bordering the larger city of Edmonton. She has lived in the region for her entire life with the exception of the 10 years where she moved to Grand Cache for 10 years, but Sherwood Park is where she calls home. Crystal believes “home is where your heart is” and she has always had her heart in Edmonton.
Crystal has always put her family first. Since both of her daughters are now attending university in Alberta away from home, she has become a dog mama to her “son” Calvin who is a wauzer. She has been married to her husband for 24 years, and in that time her husband has not only been in love with her, but also her baking skills. Together they have purchased and renovated a total of 14 homes throughout their marriage. She pursued a certificate in interior design once owned a flooring company, the skills of both experiences which she refers to frequently while flipping homes. House flipping is a passion for Crystal and led her to getting her real estate license over 10 years ago.
Crystal has been a licensed Real Estate Agent since 2010 and has practiced traditional and non-traditional real estate, originally working with the do-it-yourself company ComFree. She met long-time Seller Direct Northern Homes Realty Agent Joelle Fraser-McGaghey, while working there, as both started their real estate careers at the same company. Many people from Edmonton move up here to Fort McMurray for work, and vice versa. Joelle and Crystal would refer clients to each other if they knew people moving to either place. When Owner/Broker Diana Noble decided to expand the brokerage to Edmonton in 2021, Joelle referred Crystal to be the first to join the team.
Crystal enjoys practicing her house flipping skills on her free time while renovating her own home. Her house usually smells like freshly baked cookies as she loves to bake. She is a great host to her guests who can be sure to be greeted to some freshly baked goods. She always tries to spend as much time as possible with her daughters as well, traveling to and from Calgary to visit.
When working with home buyers and sellers, Crystal believes communication is key as nothing could be accomplished without it. She is a very honest person as this value is one that was part of her upbringing. She enjoys meeting new people and helping them find their perfect home, or helping them move onto the next chapter of their lives.
