Approximately 8 years ago, Jenny Jeanveau drove across Canada with the intention of finding a place that felt like home. Surprising most, Lac La Biche was it! 

She was immediately drawn to Lac La Biche because of the motto "Welcoming by Nature" which this town thrives at, with endless outdoor recreation including over 100 lakes and an endless variety of trails. It is every hunter, fisherman, boating, quad, and bird watching enthusiast's dream land. Jenny was thrilled to learn this community even held fun events like mud bogging and sled, car, biking, and ice racing which she highly recommends for all to experience. 

Jenny then decided to stay and plant roots within the community, investing in property within the hamlet and she couldn't be happier. The opportunity and connections to be made in this small town has been outstanding. The pace of life is relaxed and convenient. You can access all your amenities in one strip in the downtown core. She was thrilled to experience all of her running around could be done in 30 minutes, including stopping at the bank, pharmacy, post office, hardware store, groceries and this includes a conversation with the local people too! She thought to herself, "I am loving this, who wouldn't?"  No paying for parking, no rush hour, no overspending because the box stores are not here. You feel connected as you get to know the owners of each coffee shop and business; it's a community of unity. 

So, after 25+ years in the human service industry, including every avenue of child care and then expanding into social work as a crisis counsellor with a focus on behaviour modification, Jenny became ready for change and questioned how she could help people in a far more pleasant, rewarding way for everyone?

Then it came to her, to change direction completely, choose to assist those looking to buy or sell a home in this community or surrounding districts! After all, this is still human services, as she has the ability to make the process of a big transition with big choices a comfortable, wise and intentionally joyful experience.
